As well as building a relationship with our customer, as we work toward their completed project. We love to build buildings & remodel existing structures! Just as important to us, is that we build trusting friendships that will last for many years to come.
Giving Back...
Construction is what we do, so what better way to give back and support our communities around us, than by helping and serving whenever there is a special need or crisis. It was an honor to be able to help the victims of the tornado that hit Chetek, WI in May of 2017. We were also able to help the people of Louisiana when hurricane Katrina created such devastation. As well as several other opportunities to offer our help and voluntary service over the years. It is an honor to serve...
Our Story...
Matt Strenke, owner & president of Valleyview Construction, Inc, began his construction career over 35 years ago, working for L&M Construction beginning in 1983. He became a partner in this business, and changed the business name to L&M Gazebos, as they had made the decision to manufacture and distribute the gazebo's that he and his partner designed. They moved their base operation from Turtle Lake to Highway 8 in Almena as their business grew. Matt left the partnership in 1989 to pursue other interests in the construction field, and he continued in construction on a part time basis until 1998.
Our construction company began as a sole proprietorship called Valleyview Woodcrafters in 1998, with our focus then on smaller construction projects and cabinetry. As our business grew we changed our name to Valleyview Construction in the year 2000, which was more descriptive of our growth, and the variety and types of work we did, which included general contracting as well as building. As our business continued to grow we made the decision to transition to the entity structure of an S Corporation in 2003, and became Valleyview Construction, Inc. We are a family owned and operated business, with our focus on giving our customer the highest quality craftsmanship and products available at the most affordable price possible. We are committed to customer service and satisfaction.
We are a full service General Contractor/Builder Company, and offer all types of services both residential and as well as small commercial projects. Everything from new homes, additions, garages...to decks, remodeling and cabinetry. In 2008 we began building new construction Rental Homes, as we had felt there was a need for a quality, energy efficient, privately occupied rental property. We currently own and rent a single family rental home, as well as a duplex.
